Traditional circular knitting machines (Addi & Centro) require manual operation, which can be time-consuming and physically demanding for extended projects. The Ultimate Adapter solves this by converting these manual machines into motorized tools, allowing for consistent, automated knitting.
Design & Engineering
I designed this adapter using Fusion 360, focusing on precision tolerances and material compatibility. The 3D-printed components are engineered for durability and easy installation, with careful consideration for motor mounting, power transmission, and user safety.
